Spiritual Ark is a large volume (599 to be exact) of quotes from Ann Marie Ruby. It is the prequel, I would call it, to Spiritual Journey, another amazing book of quotes.
I did something different with this book. Because it is so big, I divided it up and read about 15-20 quotes each night during the month. Then I took the time to really think about and meditate with the quotes I read and see what came to mind.
This was an amazing opportunity for personal growth, not just simple reading. Taking the time to really evaluate each quote and how it applied to me in my life was an excellent way to end the year. This meant giving myself the ability to see where I can improve myself, confronting memories or emotions that came up, and also really appreciating how much I’ve grown this year and where I’ve improved myself.
Taking this time each night was the ultimate form of self-care and working toward becoming the best version of myself. I highly recommend that everyone take the time for that consistently.

As I said earlier, I read this book from cover to cover over the course of a month. My favorite thing about many of Ann Marie’s books is that I can open them to any page at any time and read a quote, song, or chapter and let it speak to me at that moment. I do it with my favorite book, Spiritual Songs II quite often. It is always within reach for this purpose. I’ll do the same with Spiritual Ark now that I’ve read it completely.
Ann Marie Ruby has this amazing way of writing her books to where they feel like a hug coming from within each of her books, and I think that is something we all could use more of.
If you haven’t read Spiritual Ark or any of Ann Marie’s books, I highly recommend you do. You will not be disappointed!
