The Bride The Groom and The Ghost
The Bride The Groom and The Ghost is the latest novel to be checked off my to be read list. I love it when I end up reading more than one of my favorite authors at the same time. I just finished a short story from Ryan Hyatt as well.
Both actually arrived on the same day, so I was pretty excited to read both and simply couldn’t wait to get going. I am always excited about new books, and another repeat visit to Kasteel Vrederic is a happy time for me.

About The Bride The Groom and The Ghost
Three’s a crowd. Unless…it’s The Bride, The Groom, And The Ghost.
The Bride, The Groom, And The Ghost from number-one international bestselling author Ann Marie Ruby, is a ghost thriller based in the gothic paranormal world of Kasteel Vrederic!
Viviana Stella Vivour was separated from her beloved groom during the 1866 massacre in New Orleans, Louisiana. For over a century, she has been roaming the streets of “The Big Easy” as a ghost bride.
Now in the twenty-first century, Viviana’s spirit is transported to her reincarnated past-life groom Silas Coleridge Vivour’s historic Victorian home by the Mississippi River. She is shattered to witness him facing forced retirement through ageism.
Separated by a breath, Viviana and Silas come face-to-face with their past-life enemy who became a demon only to separate them again. The twin flames find solace in ways they never expected as there appears Aurelius van Phillip, a mysterious young man, who can see Viviana and the demon.
A paranormal thriller set in the gothic world of Kasteel Vrederic. This mystery is solved through the eyes of The Bride, The Groom, and The Ghost.
Don’t miss out on this beloved, timeless, heartwarming tale of three individuals tied to each other throughout time. This gothic ghost thriller will make you realize why Ann Marie Ruby books make her readers feel as though they’ve finally come home.
Thoughts on The Bride The Groom and The Ghost
“Walking toward death, we start the journey of life. Learning to live in life, we settle down, yet the message from my journey is learn to love life. Don’t live in fear of the end, but live with courage till the end.”
Ann Marie Ruby, The Bride The Groom and The Ghost
One of the things that I love the most about Ann Marie Ruby’s books is that she isn’t afraid to tackle difficult subjects, and yet does so in the most graceful and welcoming way possible, shining light on things we as a society should be talking more about.
In this case, it is discrimination. Other times it has been child brides, hate crimes, life and death, dreams, and so much more. She manages to do this in story form, that makes the reader stop and really think about things and perspectives.
She also includes amazing poems, which I have come to know as being her signature style. They are always amazing, and a welcome addition to every novel she’s written, because they always fit and are beautifully written.
The Bride The Groom and The Ghost takes the reader on another trip to visit the Kasteel Vrederic family, and I always look forward to that. Because I never know where the story will take me, yet it feels so familiar and comforting at the same time because I’ve gotten to know the characters through all the previous books in this series.
Final Thoughts on The Bride The Groom and The Ghost
“I realize somehow the Kasteel Vrederic family members are very close with a lot of people around the globe. They must have made friends wherever they go. It seems like they are a great family to be close friends with. I only wished I could have known them in my lifetime.”
Ann Marie Ruby, The Bride The Groom and The Ghost
Ann Marie’s stories always stick with me long after I’ve read them and moved onto other books, and I’ve read many of them multiple times. That is just a couple of reasons her books rate five stars with me, and this one was no exception.
It is abundantly clear that Ann Marie puts her heart and soul into her writing, and as the reader, I can feel that through her books. You can’t go wrong with reading anything she has written, and The Bride The Groom and The Ghost is another great example of that. I highly recommend the entire Kasteel Vrederic series.
