Woman in The Mirror
Woman in The Mirror is the latest novel to be checked off my to be read list. This is book number eight in the Kasteel Vrederic series, and I was beyond excited to read it.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the entire Kasteel Vrederic series so far. It has become an escape, and whenever I pick up one of the books, it feels like I am going to visit family or old friends I haven’t seen in a while.

About Woman in The Mirror
The Kasteel Vrederic library opens its doors to the public once again, as it opens for all its eighth diary.
Woman In The Mirror: Vows From The Beyond is book eight of the Kasteel Vrederic series, a multiracial paranormal family saga by #1 international bestselling author Ann Marie Ruby!
An undying love story began in the sixteenth century, yet the evil eyes of Succubus wiped away the story before it even had a chance. Kees was interred into a sarcophagus in a pyramid and Marinda was imprisoned in a mirror for hundreds of years.
Now, the twenty-first century’s firmaments are obscured by the shadowy shrouds of the demoness Succubus. The only one who can preclude Succubus from taking more victims is the woman in the mirror.
When no one can crack this mystery, the father of Kasteel Vrederic’s mystical lighthouse lengthens his hands to his descendants, guiding them to fight the supernatural demons taking over the Earth.
Voyage through the universe of Kasteel Vrederic. Figure out how the paranormal family of Kasteel Vrederic helps rewrite the unresolved love story of Kees and Marinda, even after death. They must unravel the mystery behind the identity of the woman in the mirror, whom everyone seeks, before it is too late.
Don’t miss this riveting novel based in the United Kingdom, Egypt, and the Netherlands! See how Ann Marie Ruby books make readers feel as though they’ve made a close friend.

Thoughts on Woman in The Mirror
“Love never dies as love reincarnates with the beholders as they search for one another, life after life, keeping themselves alive through love.”
Ann Marie Ruby, Woman in The Mirror
As I said, this is the eighth book in the Kasteel Vrederic series. This time we are taken to visit the Egyptian pyramids, Stonehenge in England, and Naarden in the Netherlands.
One of my favorite things about this series and this book is that I am drawn into the story, and taken on an adventure. Ann Marie writes in such a way that I feel like I’m part of the group and going on adventures with the family.
I find myself emotionally invested in Woman in The Mirror, wanting to know what happens next, to solve the mystery, to learn everything about it all. I found myself reading continuously once I started the book. It was impossible to put down, as I wanted to know everything that happened next.
Ann Marie ends each chapter with one of her beautifully written poems, which feels similar to a playlist an author has for their book. It always makes each chapter feel more complete, and I’ll be honest and tell you that I never pass up an opportunity to read poetry from Ann Marie Ruby.

Final Thoughts on Woman in The Mirror
I am calling Woman in The Mirror a five star read, because it is one that I will read again and again, when I want to go and visit Kasteel Vrederic, just as I do with the other books. It is definitely one that will stay with me long after I’ve finished it and read other books.
If you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend you do! You are missing out on an amazing story that continues not only through multiple books, but multiple lifetimes and places.
I’ll be the first to admit that I am not normally a paranormal romance fan. In fact, it wasn’t a genre I read until I started the Kasteel Vrederic series, but now that I have read these, I really enjoy it. I haven’t branched out and read paranormal romance from any other author yet, but I appreciate when an author like Ann Marie Ruby can introduce me to something I wouldn’t normally read.
I found the same with Ryan Hyatt’s books, and he introduced me to science fiction that I enjoyed and wanted to read more of. Ann Marie has done it with paranormal romance through Kasteel Vrederic.
