Her Frosty Billionaire

Her Frosty Billionaire is the latest short story to be checked off my to be read list. This is the first in Lilah Hart’s latest series called Billionaires of Pleasure Valley, and just in time for Christmas.

I’ve been reading several of Lilah Hart’s series based around the holiday lately, because it gets me into the Christmas spirit. I went out shopping with a friend yesterday, and he was already playing Christmas music in his truck. Which I loved.

I recently finished the Wildwood Valley Christmas series, and after this I’ll go on to reading the Rosewood Ridge Christmas and Scrooges of Pleasure Valley Series. Stay tuned for those reviews here.

I love hour-long stories like this during the busy holiday season because it means that I can still read and feel accomplished at finishing a story during even my busiest days. If you’re ever struggling to find time to read, replace your phone with your Kindle. Pick it up to read instead of mindless doom scrolling social media. It is much healthier, and far more fun. You’ll be amazed at how much time you have to read when you take a break from social media.

At the time of publishing this review, Her Frosty Billionaire, and all of Lilah Hart’s short stories, are available via Kindle Unlimited. This is even more amazing during the holiday season because it makes them more accessible to readers without breaking the bank. Books are expensive enough as it it, and the holidays make the book budget even tighter, even for me.

It’s a grumpy sunshine Christmas romance with lots of steam that’s designed to be read in only 1 hour. Thoughts on Her Frosty Billionaire

In Her Frosty Billionaire we meet Hope and Noel.

Hope is a walking picture of Christmas. She loves everything about it, the lights, celebration, magic, all of it. She is there for it. Noel is the standard stereotypical cynical Scrooge, who sees it as an overcommercialized holiday that is nothing but business.

They clash, but there is still an undeniable chemistry between the two of them, and things get steamy rather quickly. Will it work? Or will their thoughts on Christmas become the dealbreaker that keeps them apart? I had to read more to find out!

I found that I’ve definitely related to both characters, but these days I am definitely a Team Hope kind of person. It just took finding the perfect traditions for my family and appreciating them, not to mention being extremely present in those moments. But this made me appreciate both characters and their growth together that much more.

I’m calling Her Frosty Billionaire a five star read. This is one that I’ll definitely read again next year during the holiday season. Wanting to read a story more than once is a big criteria for a five star read for me.

Her Frosty Billionaire was a great introduction to the Billionaires of Pleasure Valley series, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series very soon.
