Her Wintry Billionaire

Her Wintry Billionaire is the latest short story to be checked off my to be read list. This is book three in a six part series called Billionaires of Pleasure Valley from author Lilah Hart.

I became a fan of Lilah Hart and her short stories over the summer when I discovered the Wildwood Valley Brides series. It quickly became my goal to read everything she has written, and I’m checking each one off the list as I go.

When I first discovered Lilah Hart, I was looking for short romance stories that could be read in under an hour, and available via Kindle Unlimited. At the time of publishing this review, all of Lilah Hart’s stories are available on Kindle Unlimited, making them easily accessible to readers, which is something I love, especially during the holidays. I can read amazing stories without breaking the bank.

If you are looking for an excellent steamy short story with a happily ever after ending, you can’t go wrong with any of Lilah Hart’s stories, and Her Wintry Billionaire is certainly no exception.

Thoughts on Her Wintry Billionaire

In Her Wintry Billionaire we meet Kyle and Avery.

Kyle is a tech billionaire who thinks his rival company stole his patent. The rival company sends Avery to meet with Kyle, which isn’t a good look. Avery is young, fresh out of college, and makes the message clear that Kyle isn’t worth the time for Avery’s boss to meet with him.

Avery is brilliant. She goes toe to toe with Kyle, and knows exactly what she is talking about. She is not only confident, but she is smart, and that is one fantastic combination.

Things quickly heat up between Kyle and Avery. The chemistry between them is undeniable. But still, Avery works for the rival company. She is sleeping with the enemy, as her boss views it. Will this destroy what is between them? I had to keep reading to find out!

The answer to that question is one that made me so happy. I wanted Avery to do exactly what she did, and I felt proud of her.

I’m calling Her Wintry Billionaire a five star read. I’ve deemed it worthy of five stars because I loved both characters in the story, they were relatable and I found myself rooting for their happily ever after. I will also come back and read this story again, which is a big part of my five star criteria.

I’ve read a pretty fair number of Lilah Hart stories at this point, so I’d say I am a good judge of her writing. Some of her stories have different vibes and even character development. Some of them lack one or the other. Her Wintry Billionaire is classic Lilah Hart to me. It had exactly the right amount of everything, spice, character development, potential drama, and a happily ever after.

If you are looking for a great short story to celebrate the holidays that you can’t put down, you can’t go wrong with Her Wintry Billionaire, or any of the Billionaires of Pleasure Valley series. This series overall has quickly become another favorite. I’ve always loved the series that were based in Wildwood Valley, and I’m never sure if Lilah Hart can top those. But this series is rapidly being pushed up to the top of my favorites list.
