Spiritual Messages is the latest book to be crossed off my to be read list. It is from bestselling author Ann Marie Ruby, who is a repeat author here in my blog, and for good reason. I really love starting every year with reading one of her books, even if it is one I have read before. Because it starts things off on a really positive note, and I think every year should start like that.
This is a book of quotes from her, and I really enjoyed it, and I’m quite sure that you will too. You can’t go wrong with any book from Ann Marie Ruby, including Spiritual Messages.

Spiritual Messages is a book of quotes from Ann Marie Ruby. I love starting every new year with reading something from her, and this was certainly no exception. I read it from cover to cover originally, and each page makes me stop and reflect. Sometimes this means a trip down memory lane. It may mean thinking about a situation where I responded well or where I need to work on it in the future. Or, it may mean just patting myself on the back for doing something well.
No matter what my response was to each quote, I enjoyed the fact I could pause and reflect on it, and just be centered in my feelings and emotions about it. Reading her books of quotes feels like a form of meditation in so many ways, combined with a hug from your best friend. I love that, and the world needs so much more of that.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again about how I often pick up Spiritual Songs II and just open it to a page and allow it to speak to me in that moment. Spiritual Messages are the same way. You can open it to any page, without even thinking about it, read it, and allow it to speak to you.
You don’t need to read it from cover to cover or in order. Just open it and choose your own adventure, so to speak. With traditional books, I always feel like I need to read them quickly, get the story, find the answers, and move on to the next one. With Ann Marie’s books, I often feel like they should be savored like a great wine, and allow the message to be absorbed.
I’ve been focused on personal growth for the last couple of years, and becoming the best woman and the best version of myself that I can possibly be. This includes a lot of reflection, growth, and change. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, if I’m being honest here. Ann Marie’s books like this help me to work on that when I’m feeling stuck, and I wasn’t expecting that. But it is exactly what happened, and I appreciate it so much.

This makes the twenty third book that I’ve read from Ann Marie Ruby, and all of them I’ve read more than once. Which should speak volumes about her writing and how much it helps me when I need it. I hope that her writing does the same thing for you. That it finds you exactly when you need it, and it is just the thing you need to read to make a choice, change your mindset, get your spark back, or whatever you may need in that moment. I hope her any and all of her books, including Spiritual Messages, give you just what you need.
Spiritual Messages is the kind of book you can leave out on the coffee table, next to your bed, and even in the bathroom for when you need to have it handy and take a few quiet minutes to read a quote and be inspired, or need some time to pause and reflect. I keep her books in my office, where they are always within reach when I want them and need to pick one up.
I highly encourage you to pick up any of her books, including this one, and open it and let it speak to you. Be willing to listen and see where it takes you. Because you will not be disappointed.
I’m calling Spiritual Messages a 5 star read. I don’t think I’ve ever rated any of Ann Marie’s books any lower than that, which is a rarity for me. Normally I have a favorite and compare everything else to it. The reason I’m calling it five stars is because it is worth reading repeatedly, and buying for others as a gift.
