Spiritual Travelers from author Ann Marie Ruby is the latest book to be checked off my always-growing to be read list. She is a repeat author in my blog, and for very good reason.

About Spiritual Travelers
Wind chimes collect words from history as they dance in the breeze, for words are keepsakes as they create or break all, along the pages of history. The past, present, and future become a bridge because of words through history.
Let my inspirational quotes be a friend along the journey of life as again we make history. May my words touch your heart. I have written these original inspirational quotes from my heart to your heart. Have a safe travel as you journey through your life.
Thoughts on Spiritual Travelers
“The difference between the beast and the human is basic moral values.”
Ann Marie Ruby, Spiritual Travelers
Spiritual Travelers was Ann Marie’s debut novel, published in 2017. I have a special love for an author’s first publication, as it is something very special. I felt the same with Catalyst.
“The awakening realization dawned upon me, by giving up something, I gained so much more.”
Ann Marie Ruby, Spiritual Travelers
Despite this being her first novel, it was not my first read of hers. I originally fell in love with Spiritual Songs II when I read it about three years ago, and I’ve been making my way through all of Ann Marie’s writing ever since. Spiritual Songs II is still a book I pick up often when I’m not quite feeling myself and need a bit of inspiration.
“A walking stranger today, is your friend forever tomorrow.”
Ann Marie Ruby, Spiritual Travelers
Every single time I think I’ve read the best from Ann Marie, I pick up another of her books to read, and I’m dead wrong. Even her older writing is gold, and I always find it just when I need to. This was the case with Spiritual Travelers.
Spiritual Travelers is a collection of quotes that everyone should read, and I think it all applies even more today than when it was originally published.
The themes of these quotes are love, faith, friendship, harmony, equality, personal development and focusing on being a good person, working together to make the world a better place, and so much more.
This is the kind of book I would leave out on my coffee table for visitors to enjoy, or send as a gift to friends and family that I think would enjoy it. In fact, I’ll be sending this as a gift to several people at Christmas.
Final Thoughts on Spiritual Travelers
“Whatever path we follow, let peace, kindness, and love be our guide.”
Ann Marie Ruby, Spiritual Travelers
When I first picked up Spiritual Travelers, I read it straight through, from cover to cover. This is what I do the first time I read anything. But what I love about this book is that I can literally open it up to any page, at any time, and find a message of hope and inspiration.
This is a perfect read when you just need a few minutes to breathe and find a little inspiration to keep going.

Oh this one seems to have a different tone/ feel to her other books. Thank you for sharing!
The Reading Wife
In comparison to the Kasteel Vrederic series I’ve been reading, it is definitely different. But I appreciate that her writing isn’t all one-note.
Lyosha
the book looks wonderful to come back to. I really enjoy and powerful quote or two, often it is a kick I need to get to get myself together, feel in control again, or something like that. Basically, it feels like Spiritual Travelers should be a must-get to me to get through communication with my mother, I could definitely use some advice and spiritual self-comeback. Adding it to my list with a sweet note to my partner to get it to me when he wants me to feel happier/give a little gift
The Reading Wife
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have, Lyosha!
Riyah Speaks
I see why you love Ann Marie and her books so much. I love books that inspire and give hope to others. I’m not much of a spiritual person, but I know there are lessons in here that I could take with me. Plus the quotes are nice.
The Reading Wife
I’m generally not a spiritual person either, Riyah. But that’s part of what I love about Ann Marie’s books. It isn’t necessary to enjoy her books or to gain inspiration and insight from them.
