The Mountain Man’s Wilderness Retreat is a collection of four short stories from author Tiffany Bloom. Trust me when I say that you don’t want to miss out on these! If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know how much I love a good short story. 

Tiffany is a brand new author, and an excellent one from the very beginning. I’m seriously glad that I discovered her writing. It has been a lot of fun for me to read her short stories. They aren’t just about romance, they are about incredible women finding themselves, learning, growing, and so much more, in addition to finding romance and love along the way.

When I first saw this specific title, I thought it was another new story in this series, which is what excited me in the first place. I realize now it is the boxed set of books 1-4 in the series. I am really hoping that Tiffany Bloom continues this series and writes more stories that take place in this setting.

The Mountain Man’s Hidden Flame 

I called this one a four star read. It was my introduction to Tiffany Bloom’s writing, and her debut short story. They only get better from here, trust me. I had high hopes for this series, and I got exactly what I wanted. My expectations were met. 

The Mountain Man’s Midnight Vow 

I called this one a five star read. It was everything I wanted it to be, yet real, relatable, and believable at the same time. Every time that I think I’ve found my favorite story, Tiffany blows the next one out of the water by topping the last. 

The Mountain Man’s Forest Heart 

I called this story a five star read. It wasn’t so much about the romance, but more about learning, growth, and a beautifully strong woman finding herself and the confidence that she needed. I enjoy romance stories, but they still need a plot, and this is the perfect combination of both for me. 

The Mountain Man’s Wild Haven 

This is a story that I called five stars, and will actually read a second and third time later down the road. This is easily my favorite in the series. The character development that was achieved in this short story still blows my mind. I’ve seen authors write four hundred pages and still don’t achieve the depth of a character that Tiffany Bloom did here.

I’m calling The Mountain Man’s Wilderness Retreat a five star read. There was only one that I read in this series that I called a four star, and that was the first story, The Mountain Man’s Hidden Flame. Tiffany’s stories have only improved from there. 

If you are a fan of short romance stories that can be read in an hour or less, then you’ll want to read The Mountain Man’s Wilderness Retreat and the four stories inside of it. Each of Tiffany Bloom’s stories are part of a series, but they do stand alone, and can be read in any order that you want to read them in. It doesn’t matter. 

I am impatiently waiting on Tiffany Bloom to release more great short stories so that I can continue to read her writing. She will absolutely become a repeat author here in my blog, so keep reading for more highlights of her stories in the future. I can promise you they will continue to be talked about here. 

I’ve been making it more of a point to replace my mindless doom scrolling of social media with reading short stories, and these are perfect for that. It keeps me from reading all the nasty negative insults people hurl at each other on social media, and believe me when I say, this is much healthier.

Maybe it is time to take your own personal break from social media and replace that time with a fun and cute short romance story? Give it a try, and see what happens.
